Mississippi author will visit Grenada March 16

Mississippi author Hugh Jackson will visit Grenada from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on March 16 at the Elizabeth Jones Library to talk about his new book “Brutus and Little Man Dog Mania.”

“I couldn’t take my eyes off her," Anthony said. “She caught my eye and I had to turn my bike around and go introduce myself to her and her friends.”

Grenada County preps for possible severe weather; safe room is now open

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Wind Advisory beginning at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 8, until 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.
