Lady Chargers turn tables on Lake Cormorant

Last week, the Grenada High School varsity softball experienced the highs and the lows of what is high school sports.
The lows took place last Monday to open the week at Saltillo High School located in Lee County just north of Tupelo. Grenada managed just three hits and had two errors as Saltillo won a 3-0 decision.

GHS Chargers split with Center Hill Mustangs

Softball seniors

The Grenada High School softball program honored its seniors prior to a recent Class 6A, Region 1 home game against Lake Cormorant on March 28. They include, from left, Morgan Clayton, Olivia Lashley, Madison Woodard, Lillian Mattox and Mary Taylour Wilbourn. GHS downed the Lady Gators 11-1 for the victory.
