State gas prices fall 8.1 cents per gallon in week

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have fallen 8.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.97/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 13.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 94.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
