A Memorial Service was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel in Hoover, Ala., for Jimmy Ray Rose, 84, of Birmingham, Ala., formerly of Lithia Springs, Ga., who died on Friday, Oct. 13. Dr. Robert Whitmire of Monticello, Ga., and Dr. Greg Corbin of Birmingham, Ala., officiated.
