Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at Vaiden Baptist Church for Betty Larsen Shirley, 91, of Vaiden, who died on Friday, Aug. 23, at her residence. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery in Vaiden. The Rev. Leon Holly, the Rev. Luke Pogue and the Rev. John Staszefski officiated. Visitation was held from 5 p.m.
