Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Carrollton Baptist Church for Eunice Gray Turner Shelton, 79, of North Carrollton, who died on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at her residence. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, at the church.
Eunice was born on March 11, 1944, in rural Carroll County, the daughter of Richard and Gertrude Johnson Turner. She was a member of Carrollton Baptist Church.
Survivors include, her husband of 35 years, William Donald Shelton; two stepsons, Jason Bradley Shelton and Christopher Donald Shelton; her special son, Christopher McClain; one step grandson; one step granddaughter; a special daughter-in-law; two grandchildren and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Evergreen Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 425, North Carrollton, MS 38947.
