Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Bobby Gene Dulin, 47, of Grenada, who died on Monday, Dec. 18, at his residence. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Tim McCaffrey officiated. The family received friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, Dec. 21, all at McKibben and Guinn.
Gene was born on Aug. 14, 1976, in Marks. He had worked in maintenance and more recently as a materials manager at Novipax in Grenada for 28 years. A devoted family man, he was a wonderful husband and father, and enjoyed being a part of his boys’ activities through the years, including coaching their baseball teams at the Grenada Youth League.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Gene was a skilled mechanic and was blessed with the ability to fix anything. In his spare time, he enjoyed following the stock market and enjoyed day trading. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
His mother, Frankie Langham Hancock, and grandparents, Thomas “Pete” Langham and Bill and Georgia Gant Dulin, preceded Gene in death.
Survivors include, his wife of 28 years, Angela Beach Dulin; two sons, Tyler Seth Dulin and Damon Wade Dulin; father, Don Dulin of Tennessee; grandmother, Ruby Langham of Holcomb; two brothers, Don Dulin and Bruce Dulin, both of Gulfport; and his in-laws, Kenny and Elizabeth Beach of Grenada.
Pallbearers were Shawn Boatman, Roger Clanton, Bill Dulin, Nick Garrard, Johnnie Heenan and Mike Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
