Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Donald Cline DuBard, 67, of Greenwood, who died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, July 3, at his residence. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Jefferson. The Rev. Gary Tanner will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, July 10, at McKibben and Guinn.
Don was a 1976 graduate of Kirk Academy in Grenada. He worked for 18 years at Binswanger Glass in Grenada before moving to Greenwood where he worked at Big Lots, retiring in 2022. He was known to his many friends as a kind, generous and loving person. He loved laughter, had a wonderful sense of humor and loved sharing funny stories. He was especially interested in automobiles and music, and he loved spending time with family and friends. He will be missed.
His father, Melvin Hart DuBard (2007) of Jefferson, preceded Don in death.
Survivors include, his mother, Blanche DuBard of the Jefferson Community; brothers, Ron DuBard (Betty) of Greenwood, Bob DuBard (Lorraine) of Grenada and David DuBard (Diana) of Oxford, along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
