Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at Huntsville Church of Christ in French Camp for Mr. William Thomas Burns, 82, of Kilmichael, who died on Monday, Nov. 14, at his residence. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Friday, Nov. 18, at the church.
Mr. Burns was born on May 31, 1940, in Winona, the son of the late William Grady and Ava Jeffcoat Burns. He was a member of Huntsville Church of Christ near Kilmichael and was a United States Navy veteran.
In addition to his parents, his granddaughter, Rebecca Denise Ball, and brother, Grady Warren Burns, preceded Mr. Burns in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Katie Boyd Burns of Kilmichael; daughters, Tina Burns Murrell (Steven Don) of Gonzales, La., and Karen Burns Ball (Matthew Stanton) of Laceys Springs, Ala., and three grandsons, Eric Thomas Murrell (Alexis DeZayas), Kevin Donald Murrell (Emma Gordon) and Matthew Stanton Ball Jr. (Audrey Eckart).
