Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Terry Eugene Logan, 77, of Grenada, who died on Sunday, Oct. 5, at his residence. The Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiated.
Terry was born on Oct. 20, 1947, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of the late Charlie Logan and the late Pauline Sisk Logan Malone. He was a stand-out athlete at Central High School in Memphis, Tenn., where he was captain of the football team and an All-Star baseball player. Terry enjoyed a career spanning more than 38 years with the Illinois Central Railroad. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, his stepfather, L.M. “Pop” Malone, and two brothers, David Logan and Jerry Logan, preceded Terry in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Judy Logan; daughter, Trinaca Lemley (Kenneth) of Covington, Tenn.; son, Terry Eugene Logan Jr. (Trudie) of Senatobia; one brother, Dan Logan (Carole) of Hernando; two grandchildren, Madison Cox and Bruce Huffman, and two great grandchildren, Roland Frank Keeling and Riley Rae Kays.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the ASPCA.
