A celebration of life service was held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Teresa Hicks White, 57, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Grenada. Family and friends gathered from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday, Feb. 17, at McKibben and Guinn.
Teresa was born on Dec. 28, 1965, in Hayti, Mo. She will be remembered as a devoted homemaker, who always put her family first. Visiting aquariums and zoos were among her favorite things to do. She was also a proud pet lover and enjoyed caring for her animals.
Her father, Ronnie Eugene Hicks, and one sister-in-law, Becky Brewer, preceded Teresa in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Dicky White; daughter, Nicole Barksdale (Rodney) of Grenada; son, Keith White of Grenada; mother, Mary Mobley (Bob) of Carroll County; sisters, Laura Hubbard of Como, Michelle Bailey (Trey) of Grenada and Rhonda Leger (RJ) of Denton, Texas; brother, Stacy Hicks of Grenada; stepmother, Sheila Hale of Cherokee Village, Ark.; two grandchildren, Dakota Barksdale and Lindsey Barksdale; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Wheeler of Grenada, Dawn White of Carroll County, Jennifer White of Grenada and Patricia Taylor of Louisiana and a brother-in-law, Danny White.
