Trick-or-Treating slated this Saturday 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Grenada

This weekend, a number of Halloween and fall celebrations will take place throughout the city and county, and officials are urging homeowners and motorist to take a little extra caution.

According to Mayor Billy Collins, the City of Grenada will observe Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 is Election Day in Grenada County

On Tuesday, half of the county’s registered voters will go to the polls to elect one of five candidates in the highly contested justice court judge’s race.

According to Grenada County Circuit Clerk Michele Redditt-Garcia, the circuit clerk’s office will be open this Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon for the last day of absentee voting.
