GPD: Clear out medicine cabinets Saturday

On Saturday, the Grenada Police Department has scheduled an event where citizen will have the opportunity to get rid of any unwanted prescription drugs in their home.

The event will begin this Saturday morning, Oct. 23, at Walgreens from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Earn community service hours volunteering at Grenada Food Pantry

Grenada Food Pantry organizers said volunteers are needed in preparation for its monthly distribution day set for this Saturday, Oct. 23.

Food Pantry Board Member Kim McRee said that tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 21, they can use as many volunteers as possible from 9 a.m. until noon for bagging of groceries.
