DPS Most Wanted list proves successful with multiple captures in under a week

On January 8, the Department of Public Safety in coordination with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation released a Most Wanted List with 10 individuals who were of high priority to be detained in Mississippi.

Since releasing the list, five of those individuals have already been apprehended.

MSDH announces 18 drive through vaccination sites for healthcare workers

The Mississippi State Department of Health announced on Wednesday in a press meeting that on Monday, January 4 they would be opening 18 drive through vaccinations centers across the state.

These vaccination sites will only be for those working in the healthcare field and are included in Phase A of the state’s vaccination plan.

On his agenda are another teacher pay raise, work on the education budget, dual accreditation, eliminating year-round school barriers, scope of practice issues, and addressing shipment of alcohol in the state.
