Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Ms. Sue Ann Gatlin Jara, 58, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, July 2, in Grenada. Burial followed in Bluff Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County. Family and friends gathered one hour prior to the service on Thursday, July 7, at McKibben and Guinn.
Sue Ann was born on Feb. 2, 1964, in Cleveland, the daughter of Earl Samuel and Elsie Maudell Roberson Gatlin. She worked as a property manager for a number of years and enjoyed making ceramics. She was also very gifted in the technology world and enjoyed working with computers and smart phones.
Her parents and three brothers, Earl Gatlin Jr., James Lee Gatlin and Charles Gatlin, preceded Sue Ann in death.
Survivors include, her sister, Betty Lott (Steve) of Grenada and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Will Goff, Matt Hodges, Cole Turner and Garrett Turner.
