Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Lamar Carl Clark II, 58, of Holcomb, who died on Wednesday, June 29, in Greenville. Burial followed in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County. The Rev. Steve Livingston officiated. Family and friends gathered one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, July 5, at McKibben and Guinn.
Lamar was born on Feb. 8, 1964, in Greenwood, the son of Lamar Carl and Sue Chapman Clark. He had spent most of his working life as a farmer and truck driver. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt at every opportunity. He was a member of Dogwood Baptist Church.
His stepson, Neal Rogers, preceded Lamar in death.
Survivors include, his parents, Carl and Sue Clark of Holcomb; brother, Michael Lee Clark of Holcomb; aunt, Polly Carver of Brandon and nephew, Zack Adam Clark.
