Jr. Varsity Raiders crush Winona Christian Stars

The Kirk Academy Jr. High Raiders won for the second time in convincing fashion, downing Winona Christian 34-13 last Thursday evening in Winona.
With the victory, Kirk improves to 2-0 on the season.

Most high school football games are decided by more than one factor. Last Friday’s Kirk Academy-Rossville (Tenn.) Christian Academy contest had several things that didn’t go well for Justin Purvis’ Raiders in a disappointing 33-32 loss to the Wolves.

Chargers jump to big lead, win 28-0 over Callaway

A win is a win.

It was pretty at times, but at the end of the day Grenada High School found a way. Coach Michael Fair’s team got all the points they would need in the first half, racing to a 28-0 halftime lead against Callaway High School of Jackson, which was the final score last Friday night at Charger Stadium.
