Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Robert “Baldy” Collins, 63, of Stewart, who died on Thursday, Feb. 8, at his residence. Burial will follow in Sarepta Cemetery in Stewart. The Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate assisted by the Rev. Max Blackwelder. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, at Oliver Funeral Home and will also be held from 9 a.m. until service time on Friday, Feb. 16 at the funeral home.
Mr. Collins was born on Aug. 28, 1960, in Kilmichael, the son of the late Claude and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Plank Collins. He was a member of French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp.
In addition to his parents, one sister, Hattie McCain, and his brothers, Johnny Collins and Claude L. Collins III, preceded Mr. Collins in death.
Survivors include, his wife of 33 years, Karen Crouch Collins of Stewart; sons, Robert Craig Collins (Courtney) of Stewart and Clay Collins of Stewart; one sister, Debra “Janie” Logan of Winona; two grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
