Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, in the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Patti Hipp Triplett, 64, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, Aug. 20, at her residence. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Patti was born on Jan. 27, 1958, in Grenada, the daughter of the late James Edward Collins and Grace Heath Collins. She worked as a registered nurse until her retirement. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Carroll County. She enjoyed pottery and painting.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Richard T. Hipp, and sister, Gloria Jean Mitchell, preceded Patti in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Clyde Triplett Jr. of Grenada; daughters, Melissa Simmons and Ashley Simmons, both of Grenada; son, Scott Simmons of Slayden; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
