Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Ms. Teresa Reese Macon, 50, of Grenada, who died on Thursday, Aug. 18, in Oxford. Burial followed in Smith Cemetery at Rosebloom. The Rev. Bennie Vance officiated. The family received friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, and again one hour prior to the service on Sunday, Aug. 21, both at McKibben and Guinn.
Teresa was born on Saturday, Dec. 25, 1971, in Grenada, the daughter of Thomas and Virginia Rogers Reese. She worked at Modine in Grenada and enjoyed riding motorcycles at every opportunity. She also enjoyed reading and anything to do with a butterfly. While Teresa enjoyed many things in her spare time, spending time with her grandchildren was her No. 1 priority.
Her mother, Virginia Reese, preceded Teresa in death.
Survivors include, her daughters, Jessica Bryant (Daniel) of Doddsville and Rebecca Busby (Aaron) of Cascilla; son, Andy Jackson (Bridget) of Grenada; father, Thomas Reese of Grenada; sisters, Laura Kendall of Cascilla and Tammy Timbs of Grenada; grandmother, Alice Manbeck of Deep Water, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, Angela, Billy, Krystal, Timothy, Cade, Kendall, Lacy, Charlie, Sam, Hannah, Layla, Joseph, Andrew and Grason and another grandchild on the way.
