Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, in the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Vickie “Tink” Lois Quarles Beach, 60, of Grenada, who died on Sunday, Feb. 25, in Batesville. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada. Bro. James McElroy, Bro. James Tindall and Bro. Bubba Jones officiated. Visitation was held from noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Vickie was born on March 3, 1963, in Bruce, the daughter of the late Billy Wayne Quarles and the late Jimmie Faye Goodwin Quarles. She was employed as an LPN at Grenada Lake Medical Center and at the Grenada Children’s Clinic for Dr. Fite until her retirement. She was a member of Grenada Church of God.
Survivors include, her husband, George Edward Beach of Grenada; son, Austin Lee Beach of Grenada; sisters, Tina Quarles Hughes of Madison and Linda Herring of Grenada; brother, Jerry Quarles of Grenada and 12 nieces and nephews.
Aubrey Beach, Brandon Hughes, Jeremy Avery, Paul Betts, Justin Avery, Brandon Hughes Jr., Daniel Beach and Derek Hughes served as pallbearers. Preston Hughes and Aleyah Betts served as honorary pallbearers.
