Memorial service plans are private for Mr. Robert Park Gray, 79, of Meridian, who died on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at his residence. He will be laid to rest alongside his parents in Coffeeville Cemetery.
Robert was born on Aug. 24, 1944, in Coffeeville, the son of the late Stanley Guy and the late Ann Park Gray. He was a graduate of East Tallahatchie High School. He enjoyed a long career as a barber in Meridian and continued to do so until his sudden passing. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and taking long walks. He was also very interested in family history and spent a great deal of time studying genealogy.
In addition to his parents, two sisters, Guilia Ann Covington and Nell Kirby, preceded Robert in death.
Survivors include, one sister, Carole Northrip, of Brandon and several nieces and nephews.
