A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Lori Alford Thompson, 64, of Grenada, who died on Friday, Sept. 22, at her residence.
Mrs. Thompson was born on Jan. 13, 1959, in Louisiana, the daughter of Robert and Marion Alford.
Her father preceded Mrs. Thompson in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Tommy Thompson; mother, Marion Alford of Baton Rouge, La.; sister, Dianne Coats of Dallas, Texas, and brother, Robby Alford of Baton Rouge, La.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
