Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, in Poplar Springs Cemetery near Kilmichael for Joann Whitlock Keenum, 86, of Starkville, formerly of Kilmichael, who died on Thursday, Nov. 23, in Starkville. The Rev. Don Smith officiated. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keenum was born on May 28, 1937, in New Albany, the daughter of the late Jimmy Lee and the late Annie Mae Rogers Whitlock. She was a member of Poplar Springs Church near Kilmichael.
In addition to her parents, her husband, William A. Keenum; daughter, Vickie Sharp; one son, Dennis Keenum; one grandchild and brother, Johnny Whitlock, preceded Mrs. Keenum in death.
Survivors include, one son, Randy Keenum (Julie) of Kilmichael; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and two nieces.
