Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Gloria Baragona Ward, 65, of Grenada, who died on Thursday, Nov. 9, in Grenada. Burial followed in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Oxberry. The family received friends from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the funeral home.
Gloria was born on Nov. 10, 1957, in Grenada, the daughter of Lynn Langham Taylor and Joe Baragona. She worked as a registered nurse for 35 years.
Her parents preceded Gloria in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Joe Ward; daughter, Tori McDaniel (Paten) of Canton; son, Chris Rocha (Lauren) of Natchez, and four grandchildren, Emma Rocha, Austin Hoggatt, Holly Kate Rocha and Emily Claire McDaniel.
Paten McDaniel, Randy Miller, Lowell Gibson, Blake Guinn, Shannon Holland and Joseph Salley honored Gloria by serving as pallbearers and carried her to her final resting place.
