A graveside service was held on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, in New Hope Cemetery near Coffeeville for Mr. Frank Esker Harrison, 66, of Grenada, who died on Friday, Aug. 2, at his residence. The Rev. Harvey Vance officiated.
Frank was born on June 17, 1958, in Leland, the son of the late Dewitt and the late Mabel Harrison. He enjoyed a remarkable career at Modine in Grenada — formerly Heatcraft — for more than 40 years. He made countless friends through his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing and bargain hunting at yard sales. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, three sisters, Joyce Tharpe, Jane Maxwell and Barbara Mixon, preceded Frank in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Martha Harrison; daughter, Stephanie Woods of Duck Hill; son, Tim Fowler of Duck Hill; sister, Frances Ellis of Coffeeville; brother, Ben Harrison of Coffeeville; four grandchildren, James Fowler, Leonidas Fowler, Steven Stroup and Samantha Byford and four great grandchildren, Justin Fowler, Bailey Stroup, Marianna Byford and Alan Floyd.
