Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Charleston for Elizabeth Louise Brewer, 54, of Scobey, who died on Sunday, March 13. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Joe May officiated. Visitation for immediate family was held from 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, March 16, at the church, followed by a public visitation from noon until service time.
Elizabeth was born on June 19, 1967, in Memphis, Tenn.
Her parents, Freeland Amos McGee and Lula Hall McGee, and her husband, James Devi Brewer, preceded Elizabeth in death.
Survivors include, her daughter, Shanna Brewer (Derek Smith) of Pope; son, James Dexter Brewer of Scobey; sisters, Peggy McGee Wilson (Jerry) of Drummonds, Tenn., and Mishell Crowell (Mike Morgan) of Charleston and three grandchildren.
