Family visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at Womble Funeral Home in Charleston for David Allen Nelson, 54, who died on Thursday, Nov. 23, at his residence. Burial followed in Magnolia Gardens in Paynes. Bro. Joe May officiated.
David was born in Charleston on Feb. 11, 1969, the son of the late Shirley Goad Milam and the late Durrow Allen Nelson.
Survivors include, his daughter, Kelsey Nelson of Clarksdale; sister, Amy (Richie) Prine of Charleston; nephews, Preston Prine (Kaylie) and Michael Prine (Tanya), all of Charleston, and stepfather, Mike Milam, of Charleston.
