NATIONAL SUMMARY
Another significant day of severe weather is forecast
tomorrow, but this time it will occur across the Ohio,
Tennessee and Mississippi valleys. Thunderstorms in these
regions can bring large hail, damaging wind gusts and
tornadoes. Rain and thunderstorms will occur throughout the
day in the Northeast. Farther south, spotty afternoon
thunderstorms will occur across the mid-Atlantic and the
Southeast, while much of the Gulf Coast will remain dry.
Some thunderstorms can produce hail and gusty winds in the
mid-Atlantic. Meanwhile, a storm will continue to spread
rain and high-elevation snow across the northern Rockies,
while showers dot the northern Plains. The West Coast as
well as the Southwest will remain dry. Gusty winds in New
Mexico will lead to an elevated threat of wildfires.
