Average Mississippi fuel prices have fallen 2.6 cents per gallon in last week

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have fallen 2.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.61/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 6.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 10.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church near Coffeeville for Mrs. Judith Marie Landreth Hill, 74, of Coffeeville, who died on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at her daughter’s residence. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from noon until service time on Friday, Aug.
