A Celebration of Life Service was held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church for Mrs. Margaret Sharon Bailey Ross, 78, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Batesville. Inurnment followed in the Providence Baptist Church Columbarium. Dr. Joey Faulk officiated. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Providence Baptist Church.
Sharon was born on Oct. 22, 1947, in Camp LeJeune, N.C., the daughter of the late Benjamin Travis Bailey and the late Margaret Maxine Sullivan Bailey. She worked as a labor and delivery LPN at Grenada Lake Medical Center where she found great joy in caring for her patients. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada and a dedicated member of Daughters of the King. Sharon had a gift for growing beautiful plants, flowers and took delight in tending her yard. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved cats.
Above all, Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who passionately loved with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed by her relatives and all who loved her.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Jimmie Samuel Ross; stepmother, Irene Montgomery Bailey, and one sister, Cynthia Bailey Tubbs, preceded Sharon in death.
Survivors include, her daughter, Allyson Ross Worsham (Cary) of Grenada; three sisters, Judy Crowder (Bill), Jeannie Fortier (Fred) and Julie Cupit (Eddie); two grandchildren, Autumn Priscilla Worsham Day (Ryan) of Gore Springs and Emerald Sullivan Ross of Grenada and four great grandchildren, Gabriel Day, Levi Day, Isabella Day and Priscilla Ross.
