Memorial service plans were private for Mary Lou Glascoe, 76, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at her residence.
Mary Lou was born on Feb. 21, 1949, in Texas, the daughter of the late Fredrick Lewis Breithaupt and the late Mary Machost Breithaupt. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mary Lou lived a life filled with dedication to her family, her work and her faith.
A hardworking woman, Mary Lou spent many years as an associate at Milwaukee Tool in Jackson before retiring as a valued employee at the Grenada Walmart. Her friendly smile and warm personality touched many lives over the years, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Mary Lou was a lifelong Catholic and her faith was an integral part of her life. She attended St. Peter Catholic Church in Grenada, where she found both community and solace. Her deep belief in her faith was a guiding force throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, one grandchild, Jayden Lynn Fly, preceded Mary Lou in death.
Survivors include, two daughters, Kimberly Ayers of Carrollton and Maggie Glascoe of Grenada; son, Joseph Glascoe of Coffeeville; brother, Lewis Breithaupt of Coffeeville; four grandchildren, James Glascoe, Josh McNatt, Summer Glascoe and Jacob Glascoe and a great grandchild, Alex Glascoe.
