A service celebrating the life Loretta Lee Waller was held Friday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Shane Crawford and Bro. Truman Scarborough officiating with burial in the Coffeeville Cemetery.
Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
Loretta, 60, of Coffeeville, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born Jan. 27, 1960, in Jackson, Tenn., to Freda Robbins and the late Ellison Thompson.
After completing school, Loretta held positions in many different places during her working career, such as Holley Carburetor, Kellwood Manufacturing, Kathy‘s Jewelry Box, and even did photography on her own. She loved traveling, especially out west, canning vegetables, but that which held the greatest place in her heart was family. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada.
Loretta is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary Waller; one son Eric Waller; her mother Freda Robbins, all of Coffeeville; and one brother, Aaron Thompson (Sherry) of Hernando.
Loretta was preceded in death by her father, Ellison Thompson.
