Graveside services for Mr. Joe T. Taylor, Jr. of Stewart were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, at Williams Springs Church of God Cemetery near Stewart, with the Rev. John Lumbley officiating.
Pallbearers were Daniel Power, William Power, Earl Power, Ryan Taylor, Edwin Taylor, and Wayne Beckwith.
Mr. Taylor, 69, passed away on Monday, Aug.17, at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1950, in Jefferson and was the son of the late Joe T. and Robbie Chambley Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Taylor and his siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Patsy Power (Earl) of Stewart; and grandsons, Daniel Power (Amber) of Duck Hill and Matthew Power of Stewart.
