A graveside service for Brenda Rodgers Talant was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at Forrest Memorial Park near Batesville with the Rev. John Goldwater officiating.
Ms. Talant, 76, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.
She was born Nov. 29, 1943 in Marks to Lonnie William Rodgers Sr. and Clytee Griffin Rodgers. Brenda had worked for many years as a computer operator at Heatcraft and was a member of Christ Community Church.
Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Gloria Johnson and four brothers, L.W., Carl, Bobby Joe and John Rodgers.
Pallbearers were Joey Black, Steven Jenkins, Brian Locke, Jason Locke, Shea Rodgers, William “Bubba” Rodgers and Bobby Scott.
