Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Jamie Lynn Pruett, 42, of Tillatoba, who died on Thursday, July 29, at his residence. Family and friends gathered one hour prior to the service on Sunday, Aug. 1, at McKibben and Guinn.
Jamie was born on July 29, 1979. He always possessed a strong work ethic and had worked at Lehman Roberts as a traffic control supervisor for 18 years. He honorably served our country in the United States Army and was a loving family man. He was also an avid outdoorsman, always looking for an opportunity to go fishing, as well as cooking and playing pool.
His parents, Johnny Lee Pruett and Teresa Dianne Jackson, preceded Jamie in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Gina Pruett; daughters, Breanna Parker of Tillatoba, Ashley Hawkins of Pope and Brittany Golden of Grenada; son, Michael Golden of Alabama; sister, Amanda Pruett; aunt, Libby Austin of Tillatoba; uncle, Bill Pruett of Vaiden and three grandchildren, Braelynn Hawkins, Marshall Hawkins and Macey Golden.
Pallbearers were Odie Cleveland, Corie Dyche, Morgan Hawkins, Logan Henson, Michael Jaco and Hunter Rutland.
