It’s almost time to fire up the griddle.
The Kiwanis Club of Grenada will serve up its 65th annual Al Gully Pancake Breakfast this Saturday, April 9.
Kiwanians will be serving breakfast from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. Breakfast will include sausage and pancakes.
“After two years of being away due to COVID-19, we are finally getting back to having this event,” Kiwanis member Chris Mattox said. “If you still have your 2020 ticket, we will be honoring those.”
The Kiwanis Club works with area schools, service agencies and family support organizations to provide food for children and families, sponsor fun activities and programs for children.
The Pancake Breakfast proceeds are used to serve the children of Grenada with local Boy Scouts, Christmas in April, the Elizabeth Jones Library and other local programs.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any Kiwanis member or you can purchase the morning of the event at the door.
