Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Gore Springs for Jan DeWitt Williams, 65, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, Jan. 11, in Jackson.
Jan was born on Feb. 14, 1956, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of Edward Lee and Joyce Hanzel Williams. He was self-employed.
His parents and his sister, Cydnie Marie Williams, preceded Jan in death.
Survivors include, his sisters, Marjorie Barranco (Vince) of Oxford, Lynn Ryan of Hilton Head, S.C., and Leslie Stephenson (Chuck) of Rolling Fork and brothers, David A. Williams (Joyce) of Brandon and Greg Williams of Duck Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 85 Misterton Rd., Grenada, MS 38901.
