Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Juanita Y. Stevenson, 73, of Stewart, who died in the early morning on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Bridges officiated. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday, Oct. 17, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Juanita was born on Dec. 3, 1951, the daughter of the late John F. Yeager and the late Rachel Molder Yeager.
In addition to her parents, five brothers, Robert Yeager, John “Buddy” Yeager, Albert Yeager, Clarence Yeager and David Yeager, and six sisters, Mary Hill, Rose Moffett, Myrtle Wages, Nell Morgan, Rachael Yeager and Jewel Strickland, preceded Juanita in death.
Survivors include, her husband of 56 years, Larry Stevenson Sr. of Stewart; three children, Linda (Dave) Spurgeon of Siloam Springs, Ark., Larry (Erica) Stevenson of Hernando and Sissy (James) Holman of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Jimmy Yeager of Greenville; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
