Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Paynes for Janie Roberson Uselton, 91, who died on Wednesday, Sept. 27, in Charleston.
Mrs. Uselton was born on June 19, 1932, in Panola County, the daughter of the late Jake L. Roberson and the late Ivy James Roberson. She attended First Baptist Church of Charleston.
In addition to her parents, her husband, James Thomas Uselton of Ripley, Tenn.; two sisters, Irene Wolfe and Evelyn McGehee, and her brother, Willis Roberson, preceded Mrs. Uselton in death.
