Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at Charleston First United Methodist Church for Jane Cocke Roberson, 88, of Tallahatchie County, who recently died. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service on Thursday, Feb. 1, at the church.
Jane was born on July 16, 1935, in Charleston, the daughter of the late Carol and the late Kenneth Cocke. She was a member of Charleston United Methodist Church.
Her husband of 61 years, Jimmie M. Roberson; son Andy Roberson; her only sibling, Ken Coke and one grandson, preceded Jane in death.
There is no doubt that Jane’s physical presence on this earth will be sorely missed, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of her children (4), grandchildren (6), great grandchildren (9) and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Methodist Senior Services online at mss.org Assign your gift to Flowers’ Manor in Clarksdale in honor of Jane C. Roberson.
