Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, in the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Howard Steven Rose, 64, of Tillatoba, who died on Sunday, Dec. 15, at the home of his son. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County. Bro. Ricky Harris officiated. Visitation was held from noon until service time on Thursday, Dec. 19, at Mortimer National.
Steve was born on Nov. 6, 1960, in Grenada, the son of James Howard Rose and Margarette Jackson Rose. He was employed by Heatcraft as a forklift driver until his retirement. He was a Southern Baptist. Steve also served in the United States Army and the National Guard.
Survivors include, his three sons, Benjamin Fisk, Joshua Fisk and Jacob Lee Rose and his wife, Nancy, and six grandchildren, Bo Fisk, Tristan Fisk, John Luke Rose, Logan Rose, Hope Fisk and Eva Fisk.
