Crews with the Grenada Water Department are currently are on the scene assessing a large water leak that has sprung at 920 Latham St. The leak was dispatched just after noon
Water is currently flowing from several holes in the concrete and pavement in front of the residence located in this area. The leak will force water to be turned off while it is repaired.
There is no timeline on how long water service will be turned off, how long the repair will take or the extent is the repair.
At 1 p.m., officers with the Grenada Police Department were still on the scene blocking the area around the leak and detouring traffic.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in the area or avoid it if possible.
