Montgomery and Campbell both sustained fatal injuries after the 2013 Ford Expedition Montgomery was driving collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram the morning of Saturday, June 7. The women, along with two minors, were traveling east on Hwy. 30 in Lafayette County when the two vehicles collided. The Ram was being driven by a minor from Myrtle.
The two minors — Khloe and Joley — from Grenada, each a daughter of one of the deceased, sustained serious injuries in the crash and were transported to a local hospital where they have undergone multiple surgeries and therapy over the last two weeks. Multiple fundraisers have been set up to assist the family with medical costs.
McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada is in charge of arrangements.
