Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Mrs. Friedel Dorrzapf Pearson, 85, of Winona, who died on Sunday, Dec. 22, in Vaiden. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. The Rev. Terry Corley will officiate. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Thursday, Dec. 26, at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mrs. Pearson was born on June 9, 1939, in Bellheim-Pfalz, Germany, the daughter of the late Ludwig and the late Maria Haag Dorrzapf. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Lawrence Pearson; four brothers and one sister, preceded Mrs. Pearson in death.
Survivors include, her daughters, Sonya Harrison (Dr. Louie) of Winona and Melitta Laird (Gray) of Austin, Texas; sons, Larry Pearson (Renaee) of McCarley and Arlin Pearson of Carrollton; three sisters, Melitta Jochim of Germany, Luzia Bourblanc of France and Trudel Fischer of Germany; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
