Kirk Academy will host a pair of junior varsity football jamborees this Thursday at Raider Field.
Four junior varsity teams begin play at 4 p.m. when Oak Hill Academy takes on Central Holmes Christian School.
Game 2 will feature Winona Christian against Benton Academy at 4:40 p.m. The Kirk Raiders begin their play against Oak Hill at 5:20 p.m. followed by Winona and Central Holmes at 6 p.m. Action concludes at 6:40 p.m. when Kirk Academy plays Benton Academy.
Teams will play a 20-minute running clock.
Admission will be $8.
Peewee football will take up much of the day this Saturday at Kirk Academy.
Schools from Indianola Academy, Carroll Academy, Lee Academy of Clarksdale, Central Holmes Christian School, Winston, Oak Hill and Presbyterian Day School of Cleveland will play a 20-minute clock beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
