Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Etoyle Higginbotham Little, 93, of Grenada, who died on Thursday, April 24, in Senatobia. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery in Oxberry. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, April 27, at McKibben and Guinn.
Mrs. Little was born on March 20, 1932, in Chickasaw County, the daughter of the late Richmond and the late Myrtle Rucker Higginbotham. She worked at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada for more than 47 years and was a faithful member of the Grenada Church of God.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Billy Fred Little; one sister, Shelby Rhodes, and one brother, Herley Higginbotham, preceded Mrs. Little in death.
Survivors include, her daughters, Debra Rivers of Olive Branch and Sandra Lucchesi (Ron) of Memphis, Tenn.; her sons, Billy Fred Little Jr. (Sherry) of Senatobia and Bobby Little of Ridgeland; one sister, Eloise Thomas of Brandon; one brother, Glen Higginbotham of Guntown; five grandchildren, Josh Couch, Katie Couch, Beth Moore, Kyle Little (Anna) and Patrick Rivers and seven great grandchildren, Zoie Roe (Shane), Wesley Moore, Maddox Couch, Fenton Little, Lydia Little, Luke Little and Ellie Nash Little.
Josh Couch, Maddox Couch, Ron Hames, Kyle Little, Wesley Moore, Patrick Rivers, Shane Roe and John Urbance honored Mrs. Little by serving as pallbearers and carried her to rest in Bethel Cemetery.
