A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Elizabeth Joyce Marie Martin Bullion, 32, of Carroll County, who died on Friday, Aug. 25, at her residence. Family and friends will gather from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday, Sept. 16, at McKibben and Guinn.
Elizabeth or “Liz” as she was often referred to was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on April 10, 1991. She moved to the lower 48 — Waldorf, Md. — in 2009, and began her education journey to become a registered nurse. Liz received her general education degree at Maryland Community College in La Plata, Md. She and her family later moved to the Mississippi Delta where she attended Delta State University in Cleveland and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Liz was a great nurse and served as a travel nurse the last several years of her life.
Her mother, Maryanne Martin, and grandmother, Elizabeth Ramsey, that she loved dearly and has now been reunited with, preceded Liz in death.
Survivors include, her three children, Kayla Marie Bullion, 14; Caden Avery Bullion, 12, and Colton Eli Bullion, 9 — all of Rainsville, Ala.; sister, Destiny Martin of Juneau, Alaska; her father, Patrick Neil Martin of Centralia, Wash., and a host of other friends and relatives.
Rest In Peace, Elizabeth! You were loved and will surely be missed!
