Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, in Sweet Home Cemetery for Mr. Daryl Craig Pryor Sr., 50, of Grenada, who died on Thursday, Oct. 12, in Oxford.
Daryl was born on May 24, 1973, in Grenada, the son of the late Norval Douglas Chapuis Jr. and Dorothy Lee Pryor. He owned and operated Pryor Construction for more than 20 years and was very gifted in his trade. Daryl possessed a strong work ethic and when he wasn’t on the job, he could be found gardening or tending to his animals. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.
In addition to his father, one sister, Denise Pryor Lee, preceded Daryl in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Letina Skinner Pryor; son, Daryl Craig Pryor Jr. of Grenada; mother, Dorothy Pryor of Grenada; one sister, Emma Jean Hicks (Melvin) of Greenwood and three brothers, Ben Pryor of Sacramento, Calif., Jerry Pryor of Jackson and Charles Pryor of Grenada.
