The Grenada Food Pantry will hold its Christmas distribution day from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, next to the Grenada Police Department and City Auditorium.
“We could use as many volunteers as possible from 9 a.m. until noon for bagging of groceries tomorrow, Thursday Dec. 15,” Kim McRee, Grenada Food Pantry Board Member said. “Volunteers are also needed for distribution day from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec 17.”
According to officials, handicapped recipients will drive through on Green Street. All others will park and come inside on the Main Street side.
If you missed the recertification day in early October, you must complete a new application. Bring proof of income for the household, proof of residency in Grenada County, a photo ID and names and ages for any others you are claiming. You must have the white card.
